Paul Eichenberger

 

(Born November 11, 1891 in Beinwil am See - died March 19, 1984 Beinwil am See)

 

The Swiss artist P aul Eichenberger responsible for many murals and window paintings in the German regions of Switzerland. He was also a poet and musician.

 

 

This l arge oil on board shows Swiss peasants working on the autumn harvest at the foot of a chain of mountains.

 

Entitled "Herbst in Gebirge" (Autum in the Mountains) on the back.
