Wonderful original 1813 hand-colored aquatint engraving from William Alexander’s “Picturesque representations of the dress and manners of the Austrians” published by Howlett and Brimmer in London.
The print is nicely matted and ready to frame.
A handwritten annotation indicates that this is the costume of the “Neutraer Comitet” (Slovakia – Slowakei) – Komitat Neutra or Nitra.
Dimensions: Around 16 X 12 cm ( 5 X 6.5 inches)
Condition: Very good. Light browing around the edges. Slightly rough edges.
