Fritz Fischer was a multidisciplinary Austrian artist active as a painter, print maker, mosaic maker and muralist creating large format works of art in public spaces.
After studies at Vienna’s Akademie der bildenden Künste, he taught at the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst, before becoming an independent artist.  He executed a number of commissions from the city of Vienna for large format mural mosaics.
