Sweet Curt Meyer-Eberhardt Engraving of a Terrier Puppy

Charming copperplate engraving of an adorable little terrier (perhaps a wire-haired jack russell or a fox terrier) by the well-known German animal artist Curt Meyer-Eberhardt (1896 Leipzig -1977 Munich).
At the beginning of the 20th Century, Meyer-Eberhardt studied in Weimar under Theodor Hagen and Lionel Feininger and worked in a modern expressionist style.
Later he moved to Munich and became famous for his sensitive and much sought after depictions of animals.
