A beautiful vibrant blue vase created in the first year that Charles Lotton launched his career as a professional glass maker.

Charles Lotton is often described as being the Louis Comfort Tiffany of the 20th century. His work can be found in the Smithsonian Institute, the Corning Museum of Glass, the High Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago among other collections.

Paul Beyer was born in Strasbourg on November 9 1873. He trained as a stained-glass maker in his father’s workshop in Besançon in the French Jura. His works are in the collections of the Musée d’Art Moderne, et au Musée Céramique de Sèvres.
