<p>Cambrai is located in Wallonia (Wallonie) in Northern France. In this 16th or early 17th Century engraving it is shown encircled by the original fortifications.</p>
<p>A legend lower left gives indications of the locations of main buildings in the town, including the churches, the main city gates, the market and the slaughterhouse.</p>
